Growing more pistachios with less water

After more than 20 years of meticulous research, development, and breeding, our Wonderful Orchards experts created the Wonderful Pistachio Rootstock (WPR), which produces a higher yield than other pistachio trees without requiring an extra drop of water.

We designated over 25,000 acres for planting in 2022, with the expectation that our rootstock can yield more pistachios per acre than any other rootstock on the market.
