The JUSTIN and Landmark Community Grants programs are central components of JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery and Landmark Vineyard’s mission to make California’s wine-growing regions a better place to live, work, and raise families. Since their launch in 2013 and 2014, these programs have funded community-led schools and local nonprofit organizations that are focused on strengthening youth programs, social services, and local initiatives aimed at making tangible and visible change within the community.

Recently, 25 nonprofit organizations in California’s North San Luis Obispo County, Russian River Valley, and Sonoma Valley received funding through the annual JUSTIN and Landmark Community Grants programs, totaling more than $300,000 in grants, with $65,000 directed towards K–12 schools in those communities.

Some of the grant recipients include Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Creston Activities Town Center Helping Hand, Jack’s Helping Hand, Conservation Corps North Bay, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, and Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy and Services.

We are so grateful for JUSTIN’s continued support of our mission and the people we serve through this generous gift. The JUSTIN Community Grant will help us support the services and programs that continue to help those facing homelessness find stability and housing. Thank you, JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery for all you do for our community and for ECHO.

This grant from Landmark is a reflection of the community investment needed to support women and children as they climb out of domestic violence and the havoc it can wreak on the lives it touches. With these funds the women and children of Sonoma Valley and the Russian River Valley that The Living Room serves will be connected with an emergency lifeline of hotel, transportation and untraceable phones immediately while longer term solutions can be established.
